Seiko Chronograph Mens Watch SND255

Seiko Chronograph Mens Watch SND255 runs in a 7T92 chronograph movement. It has a sub dial at 12 o’clock with precise stopwatch feature, 1/20th of a second. The sub dial at 6 o’clock has hour and minute hands that maintain a record of the chronograph elapsed time up to twelve hours. The hands all tick once per second like normal chronograph wrist watches, except the 1/20 second hand that spins similar to a whirling device. Seeing it spin crazily is cool, nevertheless, it drains battery power. Aesthetically, this watch has an appealing design. It has bright blue dial with a touch of orange. The hands and markers are highly luminous. A domed Hardlex crystal shields the dial. The small details on the dial and bezel are used to for pre-flight and in-flight calculations such as fuel and oil consumption, distance, and speed. It is naturally a handy device for pilots. It is packed with necessary features that can be useful for different sports arena without compromising the design and flexibility. This watch can also be worn with an everyday casual outfit. Additional features include: Stainless steel case, screw case-back and bracelet, double safety lock three-fold clasp, tachymeter, water resist 100 m, date display, luminous hands and markers.

Seiko Chronograph Mens Watch SND253

Another watch that uses the same 7T92 chronograph movement is the SND253. It  holds the same specifications as SND255. Only with a black dial and a red accent on the second hand. Both Seiko watches have stainless steel case and bracelet.

An alternative quartz chronograph movement from Seiko is the 7T62 caliber. Unlike 7T92, it has an alarm function.  Two (2) handed alarm sub dial sits just above the 6 o’clock position and a 60-minute chrono sub dial at 12 o’clock. The center chronograph second hand ticks five times per second and mimics the movement of those found in more expensive Seiko chronograph. This movement can be used to measure 1/5th of a seconds. Below are Seiko watches that run in this movement with different designs.

The markers are small and circular, fairly hard to read. However, they are highly luminous, they allow better legibility at low light conditions. A date display replaces the 3rd hour marker.
